A New Chapter: Leading Ourselves into Change
True change begins within.
Today, a new chapter begins for our country as we witness the inauguration of a president. It’s a moment steeped in ceremony, tradition, and the promise of change—a reminder of the power of transitions.
While I’ve chosen not to watch, it’s impossible to ignore the gravity of this day. The decisions made by leaders ripple through our communities, our homes, and our dreams. Yet, even as these larger forces shape the world around us, I’m reminded of one simple truth:
True change begins within.

Inaugurations, at their core, symbolize renewal—a chance to step forward with hope and intention. And while today’s events will likely spark discussions, debates, and reflections across the nation, I’m choosing to use this moment to ask myself:
How can I lead myself toward the life I truly want?
What small steps can I take today to realign with my values and dreams?
Where in my life can I create my own “inauguration” of hope, progress, and growth?
Leadership isn’t limited to those on a stage. Each of us has the power to lead ourselves—to create a ripple effect in our own lives and in the lives of those around us.
So today, I’m pausing to reflect. Not on politics or policies, but on the quiet leadership of the soul.
My hope is that you’ll join me. Take a moment to ask yourself: What does renewal look like for me? What am I ready to step into?
Let’s not only watch the world change; let’s become part of the change. One small, meaningful step at a time.
How will you lead yourself today? I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Warmly,
Monica
