An Invitation to Exhale
Everyday, if you choose to
Have you ever walked into a room and felt your whole body relax? As if the space itself gave you permission to slow down, exhale, and just be?
That’s exactly what I set out to capture when I painted Lavender Fields.
From the very first strokes, I wanted this piece to be more than a scene — I wanted it to be an experience. An expansive moment. A space where your eyes can land, wander, and rest. A scene that draws you upward, making room for a deep breath and a quiet shift inside.
People tell me when they stand before it, the noise falls away. Shoulders drop. The chest expands. The heart settles.
And this feels more urgent than ever. At a time when the world feels heavy — when the tumult of politics and uncertainty can seep into every corner of our lives — I felt called to create this piece intentionally. To offer a visual trigger for peace, a reminder that serenity can still be found, that beauty can still be chosen, every single day.
Now, I’m making fine‑art prints of Lavender Fields available at reasonable, approachable prices, so as many people as possible can bring this scene — and its sense of serenity — into their space.

Each piece is created with care, using museum‑quality paper and archival inks, ensuring a work of art that lasts for years to come. It’s more than a print — it’s a daily reminder to exhale, to find beauty right where you are, no matter what’s happening in the world.
If this piece speaks to you, I’d be honored for it to find its place in your space.
🌷 With gratitude,
Monica
