Diving Into Joy
(Because I Chose It)
There comes a moment when you stop circling the edge.
When you stop asking for guarantees, stop checking the depth,
and just—leap.
I did that recently.
But I didn’t dive into hustle, fixing, or figuring it all out.
I dove into joy.
Not performative joy. Not joy as a reward for healing.
Just joy—as a decision. As a path. As a frequency that said,
"This gets to be enough. This gets to be everything."
The shift was immediate.
Opportunities opened.
People showed up.
The weight I’d been dragging—emotional, mental, spiritual—lifted.
Not because life changed first, but because I did.
Joy is now compounding.
Tiny moments of delight are stacking on top of each other—
the way sunlight builds warmth, not all at once, but steadily, sweetly.
This painting by my friend Rudy Hilt, The Diver, captures it perfectly.
That beautiful, terrifying, expansive moment where you say,
“I trust myself. I trust this. I’m going.”
“I added no wings.
But joy gave me flight anyway.” - Rudy Hilt
Now it’s your turn.
What would it look like to choose joy first?
Not as a reward. Not as a final destination.
Just as the place you begin?
Drop into the comments—or better yet, go live it.
Joy is waiting at the edge.
Maybe today’s the day you leap.
Because here’s the thing—
Joy doesn’t just show up.
You have to clear the space for it.
And that’s what BREAKTHROUGH helped me do.
It’s the guide I created when I realized I wasn’t broken—just buried.
And once I worked through it, I wasn’t waiting for permission to feel good anymore.
I chose joy, because I finally believed I could.
If you’re ready to clear the way for your own leap into joy,
start with the breakthrough that opens the door.

Joy is closer than you think.
But you’ve got to make space for it to land.
