But, I was the one that ended it, and so he went into full panic mode because he hadn't found wife #4 yet!
It's both a relief, and painful to be on this journey. I'm making progress. I can now accept, without self-recrimination, the contradictory thoughts that I deeply loved this man, but that doesn't make me an idiot.
