It took me 40 years to realize I was the only one in charge of my own happiness and not to live my life for others. Kudos to you for your strength and resilience.
Lake Charles. That BRIDGE! We drove over it pulling a 37 foot RV. I nearly passed out when approaching it. One of my recurring dreams is driving up a steep hill and my car dies and starts rolling backwards out of control. Well this 70 y/o (at the time) thought now is not the time for my dreams to come true. But we made it. I can’t imagine crossing it in the wind. 😬
LOl THAT bridge. I have crazy memories of driving over it when I was 16 in my mom's T-Bird, at about 75 mph- then as I got older I became terrified of it......
