This is so true. I was in a meeting of a charity I had co founded. I was 60. We were talking about where we wanted to be in 5 years time. And I realised then I wanted to hand my part of that charity over to someone else.
Now 7 years later I so enjoy my time, still volunteering, still exercising, still connected with animals, and meeting wonderful writers both on and offline as I develop as a writer.

For me this is the precious time to reclaim dreams I had to set aside to raise family, have a career, etc. Now is my time to live my dreams!
