Just WOW.
Ya not gonna believe this!
I’ve had a string of fabulous days—so much so that my head is spinning.
Could this really be happening? Am I actually living my own dream—in living color?
YES. I am.
Recently, a follower on Substack asked me about my own spiritual epiphany. What was my turning point?
I had to pause, dig through old memories, and really think about it.
Truth is, there wasn’t one single turning point. There was only the unshakable knowing that something I once believed—something I had truly loved—no longer held truth for me.
So I did what I always do: I sought understanding.
I became a voracious reader. I lived in NYC at the time, a city teeming with ideas about faith, spirituality, and the many ways we attempt to live with meaning.
I attended services in Lincoln Center. I sat in intimate gatherings in brownstone parlors, listening to voices wrestling with the same questions. I read, I explored, I debated.
And yet—through 30 years of questioning, seeking, and turning over every rock—I always returned to my roots.
That firm foundation, instilled in me from childhood, remained unshaken. And when I encountered alternative theories that made me cringe, I ran back to my roots—every time.
Here’s what I know now.
Faith and spirituality are deeply personal.
It is not something to sell or urge onto others. It is not a tool for manipulation. It is a conversation.
A deep, intimate, ongoing conversation—between you and whatever you choose to call the Divine.
For me, that space is where clarity is found. It is where I discover the gold of life. It is where I am inspired to write, create, and share.
And that’s why I can’t sit on this.
If I can feel this level of peace, purpose, and alignment while the world around me seems to be burning—shouldn’t I share that?
No, I’m not here to preach. No, I’m not telling you to save yourself.
What I do know—beyond belief—is this:
I am more than my words.
I am more than my art.
I am more than what I know right now.
And so are you.
This is why I believe so deeply in reclaiming dreams.
Each of us carries an innate desire—to create, to contribute, to experience life fully.
But for too many, those desires have been muted in service to a system that tells us how we should live—without ever considering who we truly are.
And that? That is an abomination.
It is worthy of deconstructing.
It is worthy of reclaiming.
Oh, by the way... 😉
If you’re feeling that stir inside—ready to reclaim what’s yours—I’ve created something just for you. My workbook, Re-Claim YOUR Dreams, is designed to help you begin the journey back to yourself. Each module (five) were created directly from my own personal journey to reclaim my own dreams. One step at a time, with me right there beside you.
