It is almost like you are writing my story. Here I am, 78, and thinking I am rebuilding my life when maybe I'm simply reclaiming it. Thank you, Monica.

Oh, sister—you are reclaiming it. Every breath, every brave decision, every time you listen to that quiet knowing inside you instead of the noise around you.

Rebuilding can feel like pressure.

Reclaiming? That’s power. That’s yours.

I’m so glad we’re walking this together. You’re not late. You’re right on time.

Mike drop! Gut punch line. “That was the night Clara learned loneliness could live right beside you, wearing your last name” The story has hooked me.

Oh I am so glad that line hit you. That was the moment Clara came alive for me too. I could feel her standing in that doorway, realizing a truth she had tried hard not to see. Thank you for telling me it landed. We’re just getting started.

Beautifully expressed. If only I knew what to do with the loneliness.

Thank you for sharing that. Truly.

And you know, loneliness isn’t something you “solve” so much as something you sit beside. It’s your soul asking for your attention.

One tiny thing that helps Clara — and helps me — is the breath ritual she uses in the story.

A few slow inhales, a long exhale, and the question, what is my soul trying to tell me right now.

It’s simple, but it brings you back to yourself.

You’re not alone in this. I’m glad you’re here.
