Normal Is a Waste of Humanity.
You weren’t born to blend in.
For goodness sake, can we stop pretending “normal” is some kind of gold standard?
I keep seeing people calling themselves neurodivergent, and listen—I get it. It’s a way to say, “I think differently, I function differently, I experience the world in a way that doesn’t fit the mold.”
But you know what?
At this point, I think we’re all divergent.
Because the mold is bullshit.
The mold was built by systems that needed us quiet, small, easy to manage, and “respectable.”
“Normal” isn’t a compliment.
“Normal” is a chokehold.
The church taught it. The culture enforced it. And too many of us grew up thinking that unless we behaved A-B-C-D, we weren’t good, godly, or lovable.
And what a tragic loss that is.
Because while we were chasing normal, we were burying our dreams.
Let’s go there for a second
If you’ve spent your life trying to be normal,
Let this be your wake-up call:
There is nothing normal about dreaming.
Nothing normal about wanting more.
Nothing normal about saying, “This life I’ve built doesn’t fit anymore.”
Dreaming is radical.
Dreaming is soul-speak.
And chasing a dream? That’s the most sacred rebellion there is.
Because dreams don’t live in tidy boxes.
Dreams don’t follow schedules.
And dreams sure as hell don’t come with anyone’s approval stamp.
Your dream is yours.
And its value doesn’t depend on whether anyone else understands it, validates it, or even knows about it.
Dreams are messages.
Dreams are sacred.
Dreams are instructions from your soul.
And how dare we ignore those instructions just to fit someone else's idea of normal?
Normal is a soul trap.
Normal is death with a polite smile.
And you, my friend, were made for something wilder, freer, truer.
So go dream your damn dream.
Loudly. Quietly. Furiously. Softly.
But dream it.
Because that’s where your life begins again.
“Okay, Monica. I get it. But I don’t even know where to start…”
I’ve got you.

It just needed you to wake up.
