Lovely writing. That movie impacted my life, too. Glad to know more of your fascinating, challenging journey.

Thank you so much. That film left a permanent mark on me—especially Ellen Burstyn’s character. The way she evolved over the years, becoming braver, clearer, more herself... it cracked something open in me. I remember thinking, “Wait, women are allowed to grow like this? To change? To stop shrinking?” It gave me permission I didn’t even know I was craving. I guess in some ways, I’ve been catching up ever since. I’m so glad it meant something to you too. We really do find ourselves in the most unexpected mirrors.

Thank you for this beautiful essay on growth and how a chance encounter with a story/ film impacted you and made you re-evaluate what your life could be.

Nuggets. Have become my opening thoughts for the day. They don't come up in date order so have to back track quite a bit to find things that resonated. Haven't upgraded as I would rather pay a reasonable donation now and not get signed up. Can I do that?

Thank you so much—that means the world to me.

If you'd prefer to make a one-time donation rather than subscribe, you absolutely can. Here's the direct link for that:

And thank you also for the insight about backtracking—I’ll start working on a better way to organize the Posts so your favorite ones are easier to find. So grateful you're here.

.. Edward de Bono wrote of this .. “po” - letting ‘TIME’ into the equation - ‘Problem Solving .. & Marshall Mc!uhan forecast how people would ‘externalize’ their ‘Nervous System’ .. he also explored ‘the generalist or ‘artist/business person.. ‘putting on & ‘wearing their ‘audience ..

What that may ‘relate your your Reality is mystery to me.. yet i sense it’s part of the ‘hypermedia environment most North Americans exist in .. dunno eh ! 🦎🏴‍☠️🎬
