Oh, I love that, my friend. Building your next, perhaps last, chapter. There’s such beauty in that kind of honesty. The raw materials are always closer than we think — sometimes they’re even hidden inside the parts we thought were finished. Keep gathering. Keep building. You’re making something holy out of scraps

Thank you, friend. It takes a long time to see the wreckage for what it is — especially when we were the ones holding it all together. The moment you can finally name it, though, that’s when the rebuilding begins

Have you read the poem by Adrienne Rich called “Diving Into the Wreck?” if not, I highly recommend it. You can find it on Google and she puts into poetry what you so wisely said in your post. I think you’ll really enjoy it.
