I have my own experience to tell from yesterday. I broke my ankle at the park with my bigger grands (3 and almost 5 years). It was troublesome for sure. And it’s going to make life harder next week when my husband has surgery. And it will also allow for more quiet conversations and visits from folks I enjoy. It might lead to a new, or old, knitting project. It might lead to accepting more help for this season. …or it might lead to more “woe is me”. My choice, right?
