Want to Be Part of a Kindness Ripple?
Let's create ripples of kindness
You may never ride shotgun with me as I hand a bouquet to a nurse or slip a gift card into a teacher’s mailbox—but if you support this mission, you’re right there with me.
Because kindness ripples.
And I’m ready to start dropping it into my community, one small, unexpected act at a time.
I’m calling it the Band of Angels
.
No fanfare. No cameras. Just quiet, deliberate grace in action—delivered by a woman with time, heart, and purpose.
In Lynchburg alone, many teachers spend hundreds of dollars from their own pockets each year just to meet their students’ basic needs. Some kids come to school without lunch, without clean clothes, without a sense that anyone sees them. I want to be someone who shows up in those places—and I need your help to do it.
I’ll start this week by visiting a local school with handwritten notes of encouragement, basic supplies, and something to brighten a teacher’s day. That’s the first ripple. Then another. And another.
This came to me in meditation. I didn’t chase it—it found me.
And with the uncertainty and grief in our world right now, I believe small ripples of kindness might be one of the last pure ways we can offer grace.
But I can’t make ripples without water.
I need you.
You can help by:

Or becoming a paid subscriber here on Substack
Or snag a print of my latest painting, “ The Red Barn”
And I promise to drop in with updates—real stories, real people, real moments of human light—so you know exactly what you helped spark.
Because with every act of generosity, we’re showing what a real band of angels looks like.
Will you help me create the first ripple?
.
To help me launch this, you can:
Purchase any of my soulful digital PDFs on Gumroad
Or become a paid subscriber here on Substack—your monthly support helps make this possible.

Your support funds gas, supplies, and the quiet joy of bringing light to someone’s day.
And I promise to drop in now and then with updates—little glimpses of the people we’ve touched and the needs we’ve helped meet.
If this ripple spreads beyond my town? Beautiful. I’ll help however I can.
But today, I’m starting here.
Will you help me create the first ripple?
With much appreciation,
Monica
P.S.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. That alone means more than you know.
As a small gift, I’ve created a free PDF just for you:
The Daily Breath Ritual—a simple meditation sequence I use myself to stay grounded and present.
It’s yours, no charge, just my way of saying thank you.
And if this post speaks to you, would you consider sharing it with someone else who might want to be part of this ripple too? The more hearts we reach, the more kindness we can create.
