I wish I could say I have master this important and valuable practice. I haven't. I still have the push/pull energy going on. I try to sit, but my body wants to pull me into doing. We are having conversations now- me and my body.
Many a times it can be as hard to do nothing as doing things. I started at two minutes as well because it was so hard to just be still. Now I try to at least go for my run or workout in the morning without anything in my ears.
It’s wild, isn’t it? How doing nothing can feel just as hard—sometimes harder—than constantly doing.
But here’s the magic: The more we sit, the more we soften. The more we realize that stillness isn’t empty—it’s full. Full of clarity, full of answers, full of the peace we’ve been chasing in all that busy work.
Two minutes was the start. Now look at you. Sitting still like a pro.
Thank you Monica, yes I very much agree with 'the more you sit with yourself, the more you will see yourself.' so true ❤️

It’s all a dance, the push and pull, and the constant stimulation around us. I guess the more we practice the better we get at being still 🙏

You just said a whole word.

The power of stillness and silence are life changing!
Wonderful advice Monica!
Thanks. As the kids say, " just keeping it real"
