The other day, in a moment of downtime, I wandered over to Reddit. There's a group there for women over 60—thousands of members strong—and I thought, well, let me see what’s being talked about. What are the conversations happening in my own demographic?
Lord help me.
It’s not just a read. It’s a reclamation.
Implement it—and watch what happens.
The top post that morning was, "Do you have a libido?"
Right beneath it: "Recipes your grandkids will eat."
And another: "What swimsuit do you feel confident in this summer?"
I stared at the screen, blinked once, and felt my whole soul slide sideways.
It wasn’t just boring—it was empty.
Not one woman in those threads was talking about herself. Her story. Her truth. Her calling. Her ache. Her joy. It was all outsourcing. All surface. All chasing some socially sanctioned version of relevance. And the undercurrent running beneath it all? Discontent.
Not loud. Not obvious.
But there, humming through every post like a fluorescent light about to burn out.
And suddenly, I was profoundly grateful.
Grateful for every single person who has subscribed to me.
Grateful for those who stayed.
Because you—you—want what I’m actually dishing out.
You’re not here for casserole talk and libido checklists.
You’re here for something real. For something that doesn’t insult your intelligence. For something that touches that untamed, holy part of you that has never belonged to a demographic box.
And it made me wonder:
Are there levels to this? To emotional evolvement? Spiritual maturity?
Is there a kind of inner expansion that, once it happens, makes you allergic to surface-level chatter?
I don’t know.
But I do know this:
I’m not a snob.
I’m just awake.
And once you wake up—really wake up—some things just don’t fit anymore. The conversations get quieter but deeper. The noise dies down, but the truth roars. You stop chasing and start choosing. You don’t need everyone to get you. You just need to get yourself.
And that’s the kind of woman I write for.
So if you’re here—if you’re reading this—it’s because some part of you already knows. You’re not here to be small, sweet, or palatable. You’re not here to be reduced to a role.
You’re here to rise.
To reclaim.
To rebuild.
To live.
Welcome.
You’re in the right place.
This is for you - ready to implement what your soul already knows.

Love your candor about that Women over 60 SubReddit. I think part of the 'discontent' that you picked up is because people sometimes feel so lost they don't even know what question to ask.
That deeper question that you're talking about can get so buried over years of daily stuff and tending to others' needs that we don't hear the tiny voice inside asking, "Isn't there more for me?"
Namaste.
