Love all this, Monica. Refoundation's an apt word for getting back to what's true at your core. There's so much promise and potential for joy in this time of life.

Thank you! That’s exactly it—this season really is a refoundation. Stripping away all the noise and getting back to what’s steady and true at the core. And you’re so right—once we do that, the promise and the joy feel almost limitless.

I love what you point to… The Joy of becoming who we are uncovering who we’ve always been. That’s a real freedom. Keep on thinking, writing and sharing!💕

Yes—exactly that. The joy of becoming… and the quiet awe of realizing we were never actually lost, just buried under decades of expectations. Thank you for seeing it so clearly.

Monica, I sensed a sisterhood with you!! I too was a pastor’s wife. And a pastor’s daughter. My husband much more liberal than my dad thank god!

Oh wow… yes, sisterhood indeed. That layered path of pastor’s wife and daughter runs deep—I feel you. I’m so glad your husband held a softer stance than your father did. That shift makes such a difference. And I’m honored our paths have crossed here. There’s a whole new kind of liberation waiting for us now.
