I had to chuckle when I read this. I have always felt as if someone was watching my every move. Even when I’m alone. I chuckled when you ask us to share if there a time that we felt we were performing. You mentioned walking. Just this morning my husband and I were taking a walk and I caught myself slumping a little. I immediately straightened up and thought to myself, “I hope no one saw me slumping.” I never thought of an invisible audience but that’s exactly what it is. Looking for approval everywhere but from within.
