30 Days to 71. Day 1.
Thirty days from today, I turn 71.
This idea hit me while I was standing at my easel with paint on my hands, so naturally I did the sensible thing and went live on Substack with almost no warning.
And somewhere in those few minutes, I felt myself come back to myself.
That may be what these next 30 days are really about.
Not proving anything about age. Not performing youth. Not pretending I’m fearless.
Just paying attention to what makes me feel fully alive, and following it when it appears.
Today, it was paint on my hands, a camera pointed at my face, and the decision not to overthink a damn thing.
