Today I went live to talk about something we don’t name very often: satisfaction.
The word itself has been hijacked for decades. The Rolling Stones turned it into a song about bedroom gymnastics, and ever since then the deeper meaning has been buried.
But satisfaction isn’t about that.
It’s about the quiet feeling that comes when you’re doing something that simply feels right. Today I shared a glimpse of that while preparing a large painting panel with layers of color and glaze. Nothing dramatic. Just the kind of work that makes you pause and think, yes… this feels good.
We spend so much time chasing results, growth, and productivity that we forget to notice the moments when we’re actually satisfied.
This conversation explores why recognizing those moments matters and how paying attention to them can change the way we move through our days.
If you’ve ever felt the simple pleasure of doing something that fits you perfectly, you already know what I’m talking about.
