I made a decision!

Because my daughter held a mirror up to me

Today my daughter did something brave. She mirrored me.

She basically said, “Mom… you’re stiff. You’re not moving like you used to. I’m used to you being frisky.”

And she’s right.

She hasn’t seen me in over a year, so she noticed what I’ve been sliding past. It was a necessary call out, and I’m genuinely grateful for her. Not because it felt good, but because it was honest.

Here’s the part I’m proud of though. I didn’t panic. I didn’t spiral. I didn’t go into that hypervigilant, fix everything, freak-out energy.

I went straight to breathing.

Because breathing is how I get quiet enough to hear the nudges. Breathing is how I return to my relationship with my soul, the most reliable guidance system I’ve ever had.

And if I’m honest, I’ve gotten a little sloppy with it the last 7 to 10 days. My health didn’t fall apart overnight, but my connection got fuzzy. The relationship wasn’t being tended the way I know it needs to be.

So I’m adjusting. More movement. Tweaking my vitamin regimen. Green juice in the mornings. Simple, steady choices.

But the real point of this video is bigger than vitamins.

I trust this soul relationship because I’ve lived the proof.

My entire life changed when I was in the poverty basement, when nothing was working, when I was scared and scraping and exhausted. The shift began when I started this breathing practice, when I started sitting long enough to listen, when I built a high-quality relationship with my soul.

And from that place, things didn’t just “get better.”

They got rebuilt.

Bills paid. Money in savings. A business that’s thriving, that didn’t even exist before I started living this way.

So yes, I’m taking the mirror. I’m taking the nudge. I’m taking care of my body.

And I’m doing it the way I do everything that actually works.

By returning to my breath. Returning to my soul. And letting the next right step rise up from there.
